Who provides my service?

Your booking is made with Pauline & Pearl. Services may be delivered by an approved independent professional from our cleaning or gardening network, while Pauline & Pearl remains your main point of contact.

Question 3

Do I need to be home during the service?

Not at all. Many customers arrange access with us in advance — whatever works for you. We'll confirm the details privately once your booking is accepted.

Question 4

Do you bring products and equipment?

Requirements vary by service. We'll confirm whether cleaning products, equipment or gardening tools are supplied before your booking. If you'd prefer your own products used, just let us know.

Question 5

Can I have the same cleaner regularly?

For recurring bookings, we aim to arrange a regular preferred cleaner wherever possible. If they are unavailable on a given date, Pauline & Pearl may arrange an approved replacement so your service can continue.

How quickly will I get a quote?

We aim to review and respond to quote requests within one working day. Every quote is looked at personally by the Pauline & Pearl team.

How long will my appointment take?

It depends on the property, garden or scope of work. We'll give you a realistic estimate with your quote.

What is included in a regular clean?

Accepted Answer

Dusting, vacuuming, mopping, kitchen surfaces, bathrooms and bins as standard. Extras can be added at the time of booking.

Can I reschedule my appointment?

Yes — please give us at least 24 hours' notice where possible and we'll do our best to rearrange. Short-notice changes may be subject to a fee.

How is payment handled?

You pay Pauline & Pearl directly for your booking. The accepted payment methods, timing and any cancellation charges are confirmed with your quote. No long-term contracts.

Question 11

What happens if I'm not happy?

If something doesn't feel right after your service, please contact Pauline & Pearl as soon as possible and ideally within 48 hours. We'll review your concern promptly and discuss an appropriate solution, which may include a return visit where reasonable. Contacting us outside 48 hours does not automatically remove any statutory consumer rights you may have.

Do gardeners bring tools?

Tool and equipment arrangements are confirmed before each garden booking. We'll agree with you in advance what will be supplied and what (if anything) you'd like to provide.

What happens in bad weather?

Garden visits may be rescheduled if the weather makes work unsafe or impractical. We'll speak with you directly to find the next convenient time.

Do you remove garden waste?

Green-waste arrangements vary by job. We'll confirm with you whether waste will be taken away, bagged or left in your bin as part of the quote.

Is Pauline & Pearl a recruitment agency?

No. Pauline & Pearl is a managed cleaning and home services company. Customers book with us and we look after the whole experience. Approved independent professionals in our network help us deliver bookings while we grow — you never have to manage them yourself.
